The Sharps Disposal by Mail System is government approved and includes a specially designed mailable sharps container, a postage prepaid return shipping box with barcode tracking, a protective 3-mil bag liner, instructions in both English and Spanish, and a four-part simplified manifest tracking form. The cost of mailing and disposal, as well as confirmation of destruction, is included in the up-front purchase price. When the Sharps Disposal by Mail System sharps containtainer is full, it is placed in the pre-paid postage return box and delivered via U.S. Postal Service to the Sharps treatment facility in Carthage, Texas. Upon receipt, Sharps documents the delivery, weight and desctruction of each container and it's contents. Confirmation of desctruction is made available electronically using Sharps propriety tracking system SharpsTracer.
