This hard cap features a lamp bracket and cord holder to support a miner's lamp and a low-crown clearance for low-ceiling areas in the mines. The shell of this hard cap resists impacts from above and is constructed of tough, lightweight polycarbonate plastic. Cross ridges on the crown are molded to give increased rigidity and strength to this cap. The style of the peak helps shield the wearer's eyes and face from small falling objects.
