Miller Softstop Shock Absorbing 6' Wire Rope Lanyard

Miller SoftStop shock absorbing lanyard is designed to greatly reduce the fall arresting force. In an actual fall, maximum protection must be given to the worker by arresting the fall as safety and comfortably as possible. Each SoftStop pack contains an inner core of shock absorbing material designed to expand a maximum of three and a half feet, allowing a soft, stable stop during a fall. For additional protection, each pack contains a back up safety strap for added strength. SoftStop can be used as a stand alone unit, or built into lanyards, harnesses, and body belts. SoftStop unit consists of a 9/32" diameter vinyl covered steel cable six foot lanyard. Both meet OSHA and ANSI requirements.
