Rollgliss Descent device is individually controlled by means of the brake and control lever to lower the person to safety.
The Rollgliss Descent systems safety principle is based on a fixed drum around which an extremely high tensile specail rope is wound a number of times.
Device can be stopped at any position on the rope (ie. to remove an obstruction) by moving the brake lever to the stop position - which is also the dead man's position should the person descending become unconscious, for example.
No moving parts (except for brake and control lever) which would otherwise be subject to excessive wear.
This unit is removable from the line for greater versatility and is olive in color.
